I can't simply 'go home', since home is where I've been living for the past 32 or so years.
Always thought of this as our 'forever home'. That changed instantly in 2016...
I was one of the first members of Bath for Europe...Some of us came up to London to support Steve from time to time.
I initially took the position that we had to accept the result of the referendum but as the lies were exposed and rights stripped away I started to campaign.
I felt compelled in a way I had never previously felt to try and stop the terrible mistake of Brexit happening and Steve was an inspiring focus.
I'm proud to have marched with my children, husband and sons's girlfriend and my nephew and his wife and so many other wonderful people.
Of course I wished it wasn't necessary, but I think meeting up with friends was the part I enjoyed the most.
Not having a vote in a referendum that changes everything motivated me to find a voice at SODEM with Steve Bray.
I always believed we could stop the madness of Brexit and I spent most of my waking hours on it.
I have lived in UK almost all my life. I have been told to go back where I came from and stop leaching off of this country.
