Even though Brexit happened, it was an intense time that I will look on with extreme fondness.
I found Liverpool for Europe and started to get involved campaigning locally. I attended all the marches too. I am Scouse and European, that is it.
I'm glad and grateful STEVE started SODEM. As a single parent, I could not have done this every day, but I joined when I could, sometimes with my child.
I’m a mum of 2 who has now spent more time than I care to admit trawling Facebook and twitter and reading articles about the EU, world trade, fishing, farming, etc...!
I have lived in Hong Kong since October 2018, so it’s more difficult to attend SODEM now...
Just being there, being part of history.
I'm a 1st generation immigrant from Hong Kong. I've lived in Liverpool for most of my life, and I'm married to a French woman, with 2 grown up children.
I am a wife, mother, grandmother and have the full support of all my family whose futures I am really frightened for. The fight for true democracy goes on.
