When did you first attend the SODEM protest outside Parliament and why did you come?

I started at Sodem Oct 2018 after seeing news coverage of veterans facing Brexiteer abuse. The Remain referendum campaign had been weak and irrelevant , so I wanted to do more.

Roughly how old are you?

I am 49+10 now!

How frequently did you come and when was the last time you attended?

Roughly once a week on Mondays.

How far from Westminster do you live and what was your travelling time?

I travelled 10 miles from Wimbledon on Mondays, as I was a part-time civil servant.

I last attended March 2020 with Peter

What’s your favourite memory?

My favourite memory is the singing which was passionate and creative: with Dame Sarah doing Ode to Joy and many, many songs of our own, especially with Jane and Pauline.
I have to also say, my mate Peters’ signs have been brilliant!

Tell me your story

Brexit was a con, Brexit still is a Con. Brexit’s not done, we have been done.

We need to continue to connect with people and humorous and creative songs and messages on signs help. Brexit’s not done, we have to adapt because we won’t give up on our European identity and the freedoms and prosperity EU membership give us.

Restrictions permitting, I hope you will join me and others in continuing to make our voices heard on 23rd June, 2021, with Steve at the helm.
