When did you first attend the SODEM protest outside Parliament and why did you come? 

I can’t remember the date; I think it was the second march.  I came to try and stop Bloody Brexit!

Roughly 62 now.

How frequently did you come and when was the last time you attended?

All of them apart, from the first.

How far from Westminster do you live and what was your travelling time?

Not far. An hour away.

What’s your favourite memory?

Seeing us win the Saturday vote in Parliament on the giant screens on the Mall.

Tell me your story

I lived and worked in France and Germany in my twenties. Had an idea I’d like to retire to France, marvelled as it became easier and easier to move around and work, and looked on astonished as people fought to remove those wonderful rights.
