When did you first attend the SODEM protest outside Parliament and why did you come?

Probably September 2018.

Roughly how old are you?

60+

How frequently did you come and when was the last time you attended?

Several, maybe 15 times.

How far from Westminster do you live and what was your travelling time?

I started attending when I moved to Hertfordshire — about an hour from Westminster.

What’s your favourite memory?

Following Steve Bray to the end of Downing Street, chanting and singing ‘We ain’t gonna Brexit’.

Tell me your story

I campaigned for Remain in Cheshire where I lived in 2016. I joined in anti-Brexit marches in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, and all the ones held in London.  I leafletted, campaigned, donated and joined street stalls in Northwich when I was there, then in Letchworth Garden City and Hitchin when I moved.  I wrote often to my MP who eventually left the Tories and joined the Lib Dems (Antoinette Sandbach). I also wrote often to my MP in North Herts, and have begun writing to my MP in NE Bedfordshire, now I’ve settled in my new house.

I will never give up camaigning to rejoin the EU.
