TRACY ROGERS

When did you first attend the SODEM protest outside Parliament and why did you come?

The winter of 2017/18 during the freezing cold snap to show solidarity with Steve who I had seen standing some in the snow on social media.

Roughly how old are you?

48

How frequently did you come and when was the last time you attended?

Stop the coup protests were among my last. I did intend to look in on the final day, but Sodem called it off to avoid the far right, who were celebrating that they’d “got their country back”. I attended the marches, the wooferendum with my loyal pooch and every school holiday.

How far from Westminster do you live and what was your travelling time?

Live in Maidenhead, so around 25 miles away, and it takes around 1hour15 mins, costing around £20.

What’s your favourite memory?

Making James Goddard cry as the police gave him his final warning prior to arrest (unsure why he gets so many) for blocking the Bollocks to Brexit bus.  I could see he was frustrated and knew he had been beaten, he caught my eye and I yelled “you lost James, get over it!” And he welled up with tears. Totally the very best moment . Along with great chats with Jane K, Danny and so many more. The cakes, eagerly buying new badges to sport, knowing I wasn’t alone briefly before returning to May country.

Tell me your story

I’m just a lost Brit.
