When did you first attend the SODEM protest outside Parliament and why did you come?

December 2017.. I had been chatting with Steve Bray on social media and was in the EU Flag Mafia. I said I’d join him for a few hours and buy him a coffee.

Roughly how old are you?

Exactly 56…. roughly,  older than I feel….

How frequently did you come and when was the last time you attended?

I live in Leicester so only managed a couple of visits more. The last was the 3rd Anniversary of the No10 vigil. Spent Sunday with them and SODEM opposite No10.

How far from Westminster do you live and what was your travelling time?

Half an hour to the station… An hour to London, plus the tube across the city.

What’s your favourite memory?

Just meeting many lovely like minded beautiful people. It gave me hope that the country isn’t a complete basket case.

Tell me your story

I was born here, but brought up to appreciate Europe and understand its history by my parents. I always felt a part of something bigger. Travelled and made many friends around the world, mainly in Europe. Felt devastated and betrayed by Brexit.
