When did you first attend the SODEM protest outside Parliament and why did you come? 

14th January 2019, because there were important EU debates in the Commons and to show solidarity with pro-EU protesters.

How frequently did you come and when was the last time you attended?

Sadly, only made it to SODEM for two days in January 2019, but I attended all the marches.

How far from Westminster do you live and what was your travelling time?

300 miles. Roughly 7 – 8 hours round trip.

What’s your favourite memory?

A Brexit supporter standing with her back to her colleagues actually shouting pro-EU slogans. And standing next to a Brexit supporter holding a plastic banana in his hand who actually believed that the EU prevented him from buying bendy bananas.

I campaigned to remain in the EU with Northumberland Angels for Europe as Liaison Officer and Chair. Now working towards rejoin following merger with North East for Europe.
