When did you first attend the SODEM protest outside Parliament and why did you come? 

It was the first one, with the Brexit coffin. September 2017. Why ??? Brexit is the most stupid and damaging thing a country has done to itself, and I needed to make my opposition public.

How far from Westminster do you live and what was your travelling time?

Now, I’m about 100 miles and around three and-a-half hours away. I was in London and it took just over an hour to get there.

What’s your favourite memory?

The camaraderie. The flags. The support from passers-by. Hugs from EU27 holiday makers.

Tell me your story

I got active straight away after the referendum. With Flags at the Proms and almost everything since them. Some private initiative leafleting both official and ‘unofficial’, and more ‘unofficial’ activities.
