When did you first attend the SODEM protest outside Parliament and why did you come? 

January 2019.  I was very concerned how our country was going to manage with such disruption to our trade links, the loss of jobs and undermining of the NHS.

I came twice to SODEM (parliament) and twice to the Whitehall Watch outside the Cabinet office.

How far from Westminster do you live and what was your travelling time?

About 160 miles; 4hrs or so.

What’s your favourite memory?

Holding one of the big flags and accidentally hitting a police van with it!

Tell me your story

I am a retired Doctor and have never been interested in politics.  When I learnt about the problems we were facing and then saw all the lies surrounding Leave and Brexit I felt I had to protest.  I came to the marches too and made my friends groan when the ‘B’ word was mentioned.
