When did you first attend the SODEM protest outside Parliament and why did you come? 

14th February 2019. I wanted to support Steve Bray and the team, and was passing through London on the train back to Stockport, so took the opportunity to get off and join in.

Only attended once, so far.

How far from Westminster do you live and what was your travelling time?

I live in Stockport, circa 200 miles, had travelled down for a meeting in Farnborough, called in on way back up.

What’s your favourite memory?

Meeting Madaleina Kay as the first person I bumped into whilst looking for SODEM and being directed straight over to Steve Bray to join the 6 o’clock shout. Finding that the heroes from my Social Media were actually friendly and welcoming. Looking completely out of place in a suit and tie due to earlier meeting.

Tell me your story

I never did anything political before the first Stop Brexit march in Manchester. I’m still determined to get back into the EU. I have always liked and respected my European colleagues and think they are being treated appallingly.
